Lower Düden Waterfall
The Düden river falls from the cliffs straight into the sea at Lara — best seen from a boat.
At Lower Düden the river reaches the coast and plunges from the limestone cliffs directly into the Mediterranean. A clifftop park offers viewing terraces, but the most impressive view is from the water, where boats from Kaleiçi harbour stop beneath the spray.
The park lies between the city and the Lara resort strip, so it is an easy stop on the way to or from the hotels.
- →Include in both the city tour (from land) and the boat trip (from sea) for two different perspectives.
- →Late afternoon light is best for photographs from the clifftop.
