Charter & seat inventory
Block seats, PNRs, manifests and agent seat sales in one controlled inventory.
Book a demoCharter seats are perishable, prepaid and unforgiving: every unsold seat is a loss, and every wrong name on a manifest is a problem at the gate. Wingstack’s charter module manages seat inventory from the moment you contract a block or a full charter, through distribution to agents and consumers, to the final manifest sent to the airline.
It models flights as rotations and series, tracks allotments by contract and release date, and keeps PNRs, passenger names and APIS data clean. When the airline changes a time or an aircraft, the change propagates to every affected booking, voucher and transfer, so operations know who to inform before the guests do.

Capabilities
Model hard blocks, soft blocks and full charters per rotation, with cost per seat, payment schedules and release conditions.
Create flight series by season, day of week and route, including multi-leg and triangle rotations.
Automatic release reminders and actions at contractual release dates, with unsold-seat visibility per flight.
Create and maintain PNRs, passenger name lists, name changes and infant or child records with full history.
Collect advance passenger information from agents or guests, validate formats and include it in airline files.
Generate manifests in the airline’s required format, with deadlines, versions and change tracking.
Sell seats seat-only or packaged through the booking engine and API, with fare classes and agent-specific pricing.
Schedule, aircraft and cancellation changes flow to bookings, vouchers, transfers and notifications automatically.
How it works
- 01Contract
Load the block or charter contract with rotations, seat counts, costs and release dates.
- 02Distribute
Open seats to agents, the B2C site and API partners with fares and quotas per channel.
- 03Sell and name
Bookings create PNRs and name lists, with APIS data collected before the deadline.
- 04Release or fill
Release rules and load reports show where to push sales or hand seats back.
- 05Manifest and settle
Final manifests go to the airline and seat costs reconcile against the contract in accounting.
Benefits
Sold, held and free seats per flight are visible at any moment, by channel and agent.
Validated names and APIS data reduce problems at check-in and last-minute corrections.
Release deadlines are tracked by the system, not in a spreadsheet.
A flight change updates every linked booking instead of being handled one by one.
Frequently asked questions
Can we import our current flight series and bookings?+
Yes. Rotations, contracts and existing PNRs can be imported from spreadsheets or exported from your current system, and we validate them together before go-live.
Does it work for both seat-only and packages?+
Yes. The same seat inventory is sold seat-only or as part of a dynamic package, so you never double-count availability.
How is the charter module priced?+
Typically by subscription, scaled by the number of flights or seats managed per season. Setup covers contract loading, manifest formats and integrations.
Can we match each airline’s manifest format?+
Yes. Manifest templates are configurable per airline, so you can produce the exact columns, order and file type each carrier requires.
