Antalya Museum
One of Türkiye’s leading archaeological museums, with outstanding Roman statuary from Perge.
Antalya Museum presents finds from prehistoric caves to the Ottoman period, but its highlight is the hall of marble statues from Perge — emperors, gods and the famous Weary Herakles, whose upper half was returned to Türkiye in 2011.
The museum also holds an important collection of Roman sarcophagi, mosaics and coins. It is the ideal complement to a visit to Perge or Aspendos and a strong option for a hot afternoon or a rainy winter day.
