The API hub is the connectivity layer of Wingstack. It aggregates hotels, flights, transfers and activities from bed banks, wholesalers, GDS, NDC airlines and direct contracts, and normalises them into one content model with consistent room types, board bases, policies and currencies.

It works in both directions. Inbound, it maps and de-duplicates supplier content so your booking engine shows one clean result per hotel. Outbound, it exposes your own inventory and contracts to partners through a documented XML/JSON API, with per-client credentials, markups, rate limits and logs you can actually read when a booking goes wrong.

Capabilities

01
Supplier aggregation

Connect multiple hotel, flight, transfer and activity suppliers and query them in parallel with timeouts per source.

02
Hotel mapping and de-duplication

Match the same property across suppliers using codes, geo-coordinates and names, with manual review for edge cases.

03
Room and board normalisation

Normalise room types, board bases, cancellation policies and taxes into one consistent model.

04
Outbound distribution API

Expose your inventory to B2B partners via a documented REST/JSON and XML API with search, book, cancel and retrieve.

05
Per-client markups and access

Control which suppliers, destinations and prices each API client sees, with separate credentials and keys.

06
Caching and look-to-book control

Smart caching of static and dynamic content to protect supplier ratios and keep response times low.

07
Request and response logging

Full, searchable logs of every supplier call, so support teams can trace a booking in minutes.

08
Monitoring and failover

Health checks per connection, error-rate alerts and automatic exclusion of failing suppliers from searches.

How it works

  1. 01
    Connect

Supplier credentials and endpoints are configured, and certification is completed where required.

  2. 02
    Map

Static content is mapped to the master catalogue and duplicates are merged.

  3. 03
    Aggregate

Searches fan out to all relevant suppliers in parallel and return one ranked result set.

  4. 04
    Distribute

Partners query your inventory through the outbound API with their own rules applied.

  5. 05
    Monitor

Logs, alerts and supplier performance reports keep every connection healthy.

Benefits

More content, one model

Add suppliers without adding complexity to your booking flow or reports.

Cleaner search results

Mapping and de-duplication show one hotel once, with the best option first.

A new revenue channel

Sell your contracts and seats to other companies through your own API.

Faster support

Readable logs turn supplier disputes into quick, evidence-based fixes.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a new supplier connection take?+

Suppliers already supported by the hub can often be activated within days once you have credentials. New integrations depend on the supplier’s documentation and certification process.

Do we keep our own supplier contracts?+

Yes. You use your own commercial agreements and credentials. Wingstack provides the technology, not the content, and stays neutral between suppliers.

How is the API hub priced?+

Usually a subscription per connected supplier or outbound client, with volume tiers for search traffic. Setup covers mapping and certification work.

Can partners test before going live?+

Yes. Each outbound client gets sandbox credentials and documentation so they can certify against a test environment first.
