Cleopatra Beach
Alanya’s best-known sandy beach, running west from the castle rock.
Cleopatra Beach is a long stretch of fine golden sand on the west side of the Alanya peninsula, with clear water and the castle rising at one end. Legend links it to Cleopatra, which gives the beach its name.
Sunbeds, cafés and the castle cable car station are all close by, making it a natural stop for swimming on Alanya excursions.
- →Boat tours around the peninsula usually include a swimming stop near the beach.
- →Very busy in July and August — morning visits are more comfortable.
