Kaş
A small harbour town with a relaxed atmosphere, clear water, diving sites and a Hellenistic theatre.
Kaş, the ancient Antiphellos, is a compact harbour town of whitewashed houses, bougainvillea and seafront restaurants, with a small Hellenistic theatre facing the sea. It is one of Türkiye’s leading diving centres, thanks to very clear water and varied underwater sites.
With boutique hotels and a slower pace than the big resorts, Kaş works best as a two-night stop on a Lycian circuit, or as a base for sea kayaking, boat trips and diving.
- →Around three and a half hours from Antalya Airport along the coast road — better as an overnight than a day trip.
- →Hotels are small and boutique; large groups need to be split across properties.
