Atatürk Pavilion
Wood-and-stone mansion and museum with one of the city’s most beautiful gardens.
The Atatürk Pavilion is a wood-and-stone mansion blending traditional Ottoman style with European influences. It has reception rooms, private rooms and period furniture, and today serves as a museum on Atatürk’s visit to Trabzon, with his belongings, photographs and documents.
It sits in the Soğuksu hills a few minutes’ drive from the centre, and its garden is considered one of the most beautiful in Trabzon — a favourite photo stop on the city tour.
- →Museum closed on some public holidays; allow 30–45 minutes.
- →Coach parking is limited at peak times — morning visits are smoother.
