Hisarönü Bay
Wide, sheltered gulf west of Marmaris, the starting point for the Bozburun peninsula.
Hisarönü bay opens at the junction of the Datça and Bozburun peninsulas, with small villages and coves along its shores. It is a classic anchorage on gulet cruises, with calm water and pine-covered slopes.
The road from Marmaris to the peninsulas passes the bay, so it is a natural first stop on road tours as well.
- →A good morning swim stop before continuing to Orhaniye and Selimiye.
