Amos Ancient City
Hilltop ruins of an ancient Carian city with views over Kumlubük bay.
Amos was a small Carian city on the headland between Turunç and Kumlubük. Remains include sections of the city walls, a temple area and a small theatre facing the sea.
The site is unstaffed and rarely busy; the main reward is the panoramic view over the bay and the Marmaris coast.
- →Access is by an uneven track — sturdy shoes needed.
- →Best early morning or late afternoon; there is no shade.
