Beylerbeyi Palace
Sultan Abdülaziz’s marble summer palace on the Asian shore, at the foot of the Bosphorus Bridge.
Built in the 1860s, Beylerbeyi served as a summer residence and a guest palace for visiting royalty. Its rooms combine Ottoman and European décor, with a marble pool in the main hall and Bohemian crystal chandeliers.
Smaller and quieter than Dolmabahçe, it suits groups who want a palace visit without crowds, and its seaside pavilions frame the bridge beautifully.
- →Closed on Mondays, like the other National Palaces.
- →No photography inside the palace rooms.
- →Combine with Çamlıca and the Üsküdar shore on an Asian-side day.
